Maybe migrating my author blog

I ran my author blog (which I host on GitHub) site through websitecarbon.com and the results were pretty abysmal. I'm really thinking about jumping ship to another platform. Omg.lol is nice, as is Blot (which is where I run my discombobulated.co.nz site and which got an 'A' for emissions). That said, I've got some other things I need to factor in, including a way to present the books I have written, and also I need to consider any newsletter functionality.

Essentially, I want something that's going to be fun to use! Montaigne looks pretty amazing in terms of what it does and how cheaply it does it. I might test that out next.
